No. Every PhotoForPass order is a one-time payment. There is no subscription, no renewal and no shipping fee, because all files are digital downloads. The price you see before checkout is the price of the package. The only possible addition is sales tax where it applies, and it is shown at checkout before you confirm the payment.

Yes. The in-browser photo check is free and runs before you pay. It reviews lighting, focus, background, head position and open eyes, and tells you what to fix. Because it runs in your browser, your photo stays on your device during the check. You only pay when you are happy with the photo and ready for the finished, cropped file.

The Digital photo package, $16.95, gives you one official-size JPG for online applications such as US passport renewal online or the DS-160. Photo + print, $18.95, adds a print-ready 4x6 sheet as JPG and PDF for paper applications. The sheet holds 6 US 2x2 photos when printed borderless, or 2 with cut guides. If you might need prints, Photo + print is the safer choice.

Printing the PhotoForPass 4x6 sheet costs whatever your store charges for one standard 4x6 photo print, which is one of the cheapest items at any photo counter. Check the current price at CVS, Walgreens or Walmart in their photo app or website. You can also print at home on 4x6 glossy or matte photo paper. Print at actual size so each photo stays exactly 2 x 2 inches.

If you are not happy with your PhotoForPass order for any reason, email contact@photoforpass.com within 14 days of purchase with your order number, and you get a full refund. You do not need to explain why, although a short reason helps us improve. If a government agency rejects your photo, you also get a full refund. Refunds go back to your original payment method.

If the U.S. Department of State or another agency rejects a PhotoForPass photo, email contact@photoforpass.com with your order number and you get a full refund. A copy of the rejection notice helps us improve, but it is not required; cover any passport or application number first. You can also retake the photo in better light and ask for a redo if you need a new photo quickly.

No. Each PhotoForPass order is for one document type, such as a US passport or a US visa. Checks and redos belong to that order and cannot be moved to another document or person. Many US documents share the 2 x 2 inch size, but their digital file limits differ, so if you need both a passport photo and a DV lottery photo, place two orders.

A family pack is simply 2 or 3 people in one order, at $29.95 or $39.95. It works for partners, children, parents or roommates applying at the same time. Each person gets a digital photo and a print-ready 4x6 sheet, plus their own 5 photo checks and 3 free redos. You can only upload photos of yourself, your children or people who have given you permission.

PhotoForPass accepts Apple Pay, Google Pay, major credit and debit cards, and Link. Payments are processed by Stripe, so we never see or store your full card number. Apple Pay and Google Pay appear on supported devices and browsers. Every order is a one-time payment with no subscription, and your receipt with the order number arrives by email.

Sales tax depends on where you live. If tax applies to your order, Stripe checkout calculates it and shows it as a separate line before you confirm, so you always see the final total first. Store prices for passport photos, such as those at CVS, Walgreens or USPS, also usually have sales tax added at the register.

Yes. Right after payment, PhotoForPass sends a receipt to the email address you entered at checkout. It shows the package, the price, any tax and your order number. Keep it, because the order number is the fastest way for support to find your order for downloads, redos or a refund. If you cannot find it, check your spam or promotions folder.

Yes. Before you order, your photo never leaves your device, because the PhotoForPass check and preview run in your browser. After you order, it is encrypted in transit and at rest, used only to make the photo you ordered, never sold or shared for advertising, and deleted automatically after 90 days. You can delete it sooner from My photos. Stripe handles your payment, so we never see your full card number.
