Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

You have the right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information, and of targeted advertising, under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and similar laws in other US states. This page explains what that means for PhotoForPass and how to opt out. We honor opt-out requests from all users, wherever they live.

The short version

• We never sell or share your photos, generated images, email address or payment details.
• We do not sell personal information for money.
• Analytics and marketing are off until you accept them. If you accept them, we use Google Analytics 4 (with Google signals when you accept marketing) and Microsoft Clarity. Because Google and Microsoft then receive online identifiers, browsing activity on our site and approximate location, privacy laws may treat this as a “sale”, “sharing” or targeted advertising.
• You can take that consent back at any time, as explained below.

Opt out now

Click “Cookie settings” in the site footer and choose Reject non-essential, or turn off Analytics and Marketing and save.

When you opt out, we will:

• Set Google’s analytics and advertising consent signals to “denied” for this browser.
• Stop loading Microsoft Clarity.
• Save your choice in our pfp_consent cookie, so we remember it for 180 days.

Your opt-out takes effect right away for future page views. You do not need an account to opt out, and we will not ask you for any information.

Please note:

• Because your choice is stored in your browser, you may need to opt out again if you clear your cookies or use a different browser or device. Turning on Global Privacy Control avoids this.
• Cookies that Google or Microsoft already set may stay in your browser until they expire or you delete them in your browser settings.
• Even when you opt out, Google’s tag may send limited cookieless pings (such as the page, time, browser type and consent status, plus the IP address every internet request carries), which Google uses for aggregated modeling. See our Cookie Policy. To block these as well, you can use a browser extension that blocks trackers.

Global Privacy Control (GPC)

Global Privacy Control is a browser setting that tells websites you want to opt out of the sale and sharing of your personal information. We treat a GPC signal as a valid opt-out request. When your browser sends it:

• Analytics and marketing stay off for that browser, even if you accepted them before.
• The analytics and marketing switches in our cookie settings are locked off while GPC is on.
• Microsoft Clarity does not load, and Google’s analytics and advertising consent signals stay “denied”.

To use GPC, choose a browser or extension that supports it. You can learn more at globalprivacycontrol.org.

Other ways to opt out

Email contact@photoforpass.com with the subject “Do not sell or share”. Because your analytics choice is stored in your browser, we will also explain how to apply it there.

Authorized agents

You may ask an authorized agent to submit an opt-out request for you. We may ask the agent for proof that you have authorized them to act on your behalf.

Sensitive personal information

We use photos, which may be considered sensitive personal information, only to provide the Service you request, as permitted by California regulations. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you, and we never sell or share it. For this reason, a separate “Limit the Use of My Sensitive Personal Information” option is not needed. You can delete your photos at any time from “My photos”.

Minors

We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16.

No discrimination

Opting out will not change the price, quality or features of the Service you receive.
